Good Morning Room 19,

Here is a framework and example of a great recount. The framework is to help you structure your recount.



Read the recount about a trip to the museum. Your task is to leave a comment to tell me what you think is great about this recount. Use the recount success criteria in your writing books as a guide. The usual blog rules apply.

Ciao you are now on line with Cody and Will and we are going to tell you the positives of this recount.The reason why we enjoy reading the recount is because it has stunning descriptive language .And also it is in chronological order by using the story from beginning to end.But we mainly loved that they used the most important rule of a recount which is write in the past tense.

    Theres is full stops,capital letters,good sentence,adjectives.

    We noticed that the author had used time connectives in the correct places and also that the author had put the events in chronological order and in paragraphs.

    We think it is positive because it has everything that a recount should have like..

    Paragraphs for each idea, adjectives to describe an object so the reader can have a better image in their head, chronological order which means everything is from first to last, conclusion to rap up the recount, punctuation like capital letters, commas, etc.

    This persons recount is in past tense,is in chronological order, is using descriptive language, they are expressing their feelings and saying how they liked and disliked that day .
    It is set in paragraphs ,it has the intro ,body and the conclusion to finish the recount.

    I found out that the writer put the story in chronological order and used a lot of Time Connectives past tense and adjectives. I also noticed that the writer used paragraphs to group his/her ideas.
