Moving On, Looking Back

Kia Orana Room 19,

As we near the end of the year and our time at Papatoetoe South School, it's a good time to stop and think.

We have a great chance to look back and think about the things we have enjoyed, what we've learned and what some of our favourite experiences have been. It is also a time to look forward, to intermediate and the challenges of the future.



Your task is to think and write about-

- What have I really enjoyed from my time at Papatoetoe South School?
- What or who will I miss the most?
- What am I really looking forward to at Intermediate?
- What am I worried about for the future and moving on?
- How will I make sure my move up to Intermediate is a big success?

    Hi my name is Mele and I will tell you what a wonderful years I had at Papatoetoe South school.

    At Papatoetoe South school I learned how to do decimals. The most fun I had was playing sports like netball and rugby. The challenges I might have at intermediate is meeting the new people there and do the new things that are fun.

    I DON'T WANT TO LEVAE PAPATOETOE SOUTH SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Bonjour my name is Danny and I am here to tell you about this task.

    What I really enjoyed in Papatoetoe South School is playing soccer with my friends and having the best teachers Mrs Stowers and Mr Begg.

    The person I will miss the most is Elias because he's my best friend and I like playing with so much.

    What I am looking forward to Intermediate is I meet new friends from other schools and homework gets harder and harder.

    In the future what I'm worried is I might get detention for not doing my work and that scares me off.

    My move out to Intermediate is I might get a good mark for my work because I wouldn't muck around and do silly stuff like throwing erasers and throwing pencils.

    Hi my name is Britney and this is what I think about Papatoetoe South school.

    I think that Pap south is really cool school because we can do all sorts of things like doing fun things like art,sport,games and maths.

    The people that I will miss are Niki, all the girls.

    The thing that I am looking forward to is that I can be with some of my new friends who I have meet at birthday partys.

    I am worried because people might not like me or they like me because of my soccer skills.

    To be good at intermediate I need to take part, sharing my ideas and also paying attention.

    I will miss Pap south.

    Bonjour my name is Tyson and I am going to tell you about my special moments at Papatoetoe South School.

    I have really enjoyed my time at Papatoetoe South School because I have been here for 6 years and I have liked all my teachers here they are.

    Miss Austin=Rm2
    Mrs Hannif=Rm9
    Mrs Bennet=Rm20
    Miss Gouldstone=Rm25
    Mrs Barrowman=Rm14
    Mrs Stoweres & Mr Begg=Rm19

    I am looking forward to intermediate because it is a real challenge and it gives me a chance to meet new people. I am worried about some stuff like missing Papatoetoe South School but I know that my foot steps have set foot in this school. I will be succesful at Kedgly Intermediate because I will listen to teachers, and try to stay out of trouble hopefully.

    The thing I have most enjoyed was when I got to play different games with my friends.

    One of the other things was when I did the blogging tasks.

    Hi my name Himachal and I'm going to tell you about how I will move on to intermediate.

    I've had a brilliant time at Paptoetoe South school with my friendsand teachers in my six years and I hate to leave Paptoetoe south school.

    These are the teachers I've been in the past six years.

    2006=Mrs Kemp
    2007=Miss Heart
    2008=Mrs Tremuain
    2009=Mr Blakemore + Miss Walsh
    2010=Mrs Harrison
    2011=Miss Gouldstone,Mrs Stowers,Mr Begg,Miss Johnstone,Miss Stone,Mr Liu and Mr Boxen.

    Now I'm looking forward to how I work at Papatoetoe Intermediate and I'll really miss my friends like Petaia ,Shivneel,Nabeel,Britney and much more that are going to other schools next year.
    So good bye to Paptoetoe south school and hello to Papatoetoe Intermediate.
