What is a podcast?
A podcast is an easy and powerful way to communicate your ideas and messages. It is a unique way of sharing our school work and experiences over the internet. The basic equipment you need is a computer with some kind of recording ability and some recording software. You can listen to podcasts directly on the websites of the people who make them or you can subscribe to softwares like itunes.
What is it for?
A podcast is like a radio show. It is recorded and then it is distributed over the internet so that anyone can listen to it whenever they like.
Podcast helps us to develop speaking and listening skills and learn amazing Information Communication Technolgy(ICT) skills.
While the guests are invited to send their comments, podcast allows us to have a great feedback on our work.
It is awesome for developing teamwork skills and helps us to work together really well.
Music, school news, jokes, your class work and school songs are just some of the things you can include in your podcast.

ReplyDeleteA podcast is a form of audio broadcasting on the internet. The reason it became linked with the ipod in name was because people downloaded podcasts [audio shows] to listen on their ipods. How ever you don't have to listen to podcasts only on ipods; you can use your computer with some music software such as windows built-in media player or your favourite player.
