The flavors he sells are strawberry, vanilla, banana, caramel, lemon, mint and raspberry.
How many different combinations could you have with a cone and one scoop?
If everyone in the class chose a different combination, what is the probability of getting a plain cone and honey ice cream?

Strong readers have a number of comprehension strategies that they can use to help them understand what they read. Understanding what you read is crucial- there isn't much point in being able to read the words if you don't understand the meaning!
To be effective at evaluating what we read, we need to be able to use some of the other strategies as well. Can you think what they are? Also, remember to leave an evaluation about robots on the post below.

- there is an even chance landing on heads when I toss a coin.
- it is possible that is will rain.
- it is very unlikely to snow in Auckland.
- it is impossible to fly without help.
Your task is to put these events in order of likeliness, starting from certain and finishing with impossible. Use this sentence structure to help you frame your answers:
" It is ________ that ___________. "
Events:
I choose a card from a pack of cards and it is red.
I roll 10 dice and they all land on 6.
The All Blacks will win the Rugby World Cup.
Christmas day will happen on the 25th of December.
Mr Barratt will come to school on Monday with a neck like a giraffe.
Scotland will win the Rugby World Cup.
Mrs Stowers will watch the television tonight.
There will be 5 people absent from room 19 tomorrow.
